How is your Circulation?

Without good circulation your tank will never be full.

Our blood is a Lifeforce made up of nutrition, water & the body’s innate communication molecules, be it stem cells, immune system proteins or neuro transmitters to make us feel good.

Good circulation promotes flexibility in the body and a shine to hair, skin and nails. It improves hormone health, eyesight, healthy gums and even energy levels. Good circulation plays a vital role in sexual health and fertility, and essential to assist detoxification.

There are also many mental and emotional benefits that come from good circulation. When blood flow is healthy sleep quality gets better, clarity and brain function is positively supported, and because hormones can be transported more efficiently, mood imbalances such as anxiety and depression can be processed and detoxified– along with other associated toxins such as heavy metals and inflammatory compounds.

Signs of poor circulation can include cold hands and feet, poor skin health, hair loss, decreasing vision, difficulty with concentration, mood or memory, problems with pain and movement, and certainly issues with sexual performance and fertility.

Finding ways to stimulate and maintain healthy circulation is a major player when it comes to longevity and will absolutely lower your risk of needing to deal with some of today’s most common chronic diseases. 3 simple ways to positively influence and restore your circulation are;

1/ Hydration: Blood has a high water content so proper hydration is crucial. Contrary to popular ideas out there, drinking loads of water throughout the day won’t hydrate you and may even cause issues with your mineral balance. To get a better understanding of how to hydrate check out the blog “Minerals & Living Water: How to acheive proper Hydration”.

2/ Barefoot electrification: the science behind being barefoot on the Earth is growing by the day. Nature emitts specific magnetic and infra red frequencies, which makes available to us both healing bio photons in the form of light, and energizing qualities in the form of free electrons. You might be most familiar with an increase in electrons  from the freshness in the air just after the rain, the amazing sea breeze near the ocean, or the crispness high up in the mountains. In fact, it’s due to the high number of electrons in the atmosphere that gives the amazing green colour to the sky when witnessing Aurora Borealis- the “Northern Lights”. Standing or walking barefoot connects us the electrons being released by the Earth and as a result our red blood cells become less clumped (known as rouleaux formation) and circulation improves. 3/ A variety of other activities can boost circulation through the release of an endogenous (made on the inside) molecule known as Nitric Oxide. This fascinating molecule is discussed in the blog “Miracle Molecule: Nitric Oxide for health & vitality”. Incorporating such methods as Eastern medical herbs, acupuncture, Qi Gong & yoga, humming, high  intensity training and even laughing can all increase Nitric Oxide levels in the body to improve blood flow and circulation.
